On October started the European Project P2Pvalue Techno-social platform for sustainable models and value generation in commons-based peer production in the Future Internet, and on 14 November was held a a kick-off meeting with all the parners in Guildford (UK), in which IGOPnet participates.
P2Pvalue is a project on online collaborative production. This project, funded by the European Commission, integrates academics, hackers and commoners from different European universities and organizations with the aim of developing sustainable models that serve the development of online community platforms based on the generation of value.
Thus, the project focuses on the concept of commons-based peer production (CCBP), that is, those communities that promote social innovation and value’s production through voluntary cooperation of citizens through the Internet.
